A family in need

Many of the orphans are social orphans. That means that they have a mom or a dad or both but at some point in life they realized they couldn’t take care of their children and decided to place them in an orphanage, where they would at least get a warm meal every day! Leo is one of these children. He grew up in the orphanage from the age of 5, (he is 17 now) and in March, he went back to live with his family. His family can barely provide a meal a day but Leo is happier now than he ever has been!

One way this family can provide for themselves is by collecting paper and plastic from the garbage and then they bring everything to a recycling factory where they receive some money. Some days they work for nothing more than a loaf of bread! They use a horse and a cart for this. This winter their horse died so with the horse they also lost a way make a living.

God is good, and as soon as Katie and Karen spread the news about the need, a family donated money for a new horse. Words cannot describe the joy that was brought to this family! Thank you !
